Jake Turgeon is a structural engineer in our Minneapolis office and has nationwide experience with all major types of structural systems. He collaborates daily with architects and designers to deliver excellence to our clients.
As HGA’s in-house vibration expert, he has developed and implemented sophisticated tools for analyzing vibrations in structures to ensure occupant comfort and performance of sensitive equipment. Jake has extensive high-rise experience with corporate and healthcare facilities. His building renovation experience and knowledge of state-of-the art engineering practices allow him to assess multiple retrofitting options and work closely with the construction team to select a cost-effective solution for the vertical expansion project.
Jake has nationwide experience with all major types of structural systems, including advanced high-rise lateral analysis, selection, and layout. He collaborates daily with architects and designers to deliver excellence to our clients. His responsibilities include: lateral and gravity system selection, overseeing all aspects of structural design, multi-discipline coordination, construction document preparation and construction administration.
