San Jose
Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, our San Jose studio is shaped by the pace, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit of the region around us. Our team partners with clients across workplace, science and technology, healthcare, and higher education to create environments that support innovation, collaboration, and growth. Whether designing next-generation workplaces, research environments, or community-focused spaces, we bring together strategy, technical expertise, and design thinking to solve complex challenges. Just as important as the work itself is the culture we’re building: one grounded in curiosity, collaboration, mentorship, and a shared excitement for what’s ahead in the Silicon Valley and the greater Bay Area.

A New Chapter for Behavioral Health Care
The new Child, Adolescent, and Adult Behavioral Health Services Center at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center is nearing completion, bringing Santa Clara County closer to a major milestone in expanding access to behavioral healthcare. Designed to consolidate critical services into one purpose-built facility, the center will support children, adolescents, adults, families, and care teams in an environment shaped by safety, dignity, and compassionate care.
As the project moves through its final stages, it reflects the growing regional need for behavioral health environments that are thoughtful, resilient, and deeply human-centered.

Community Impact
Showing Up for San Jose’s Civic Greenway
For Earth Day, HGA San Jose partnered with the Guadalupe River Park Conservancy to support stewardship of the Guadalupe River Park and Gardens, a public greenway that brings together trails, gardens, wildlife, art, and community space in the heart of the city. By volunteering locally, the San Jose team helped support a more welcoming and vibrant public space for the broader community — and got a little fresh air while they were at it. Not the worst way to spend Earth Day.
