As HGA’s National Engineering Practice Leader, Fire Protection, Eric specializes in the design and coordination of life-safety, fire alarm, and fire suppression systems. Eric engages jurisdictional authorities early in design so that permitting or approval issues do not arise later in the process. He is well-versed in the design and construction lifecycle on buildings and campuses across many markets, including government, commercial, educational, transit, institutional, cultural, industrial, storage and retail.
In this episode of Engineering Innovation, Eric explores why the industry's one-size-fits-all approach to fire suppression is no longer enough and how a project-specific approach can help organizations balance performance, sustainability, regulatory risk, and long-term resilience.
