He values and enjoys the exploratory process, where the answers to ‘why’ and ‘how’ are discovered collaboratively with clients and lead to original, sophisticated solutions.
With more than 30 years of experience designing research and teaching spaces for leading universities and institutions across the United States, Chris promotes the concept of convergence sciences. Thematic initiatives and integration of science and research with disciplines in business, big data, AI and machine learning, is a driving force in his design philosophy. Just as expressions of art, music, or literature transcend time, Chris believes architecture provides a similar link, connecting the past to the future by blending innovation with an appreciation for the existing campus context.
