Lisa Hellmuth Promoted to National Science + Technology Business Development

We are thrilled to announce that Lisa Hellmuth in our Boston office has been promoted to National Science + Technology Business Development.

In this newly created role that reflects HGA’s continued success in Science + Technology, she will partner with firmwide leadership to identify target clients and direct large national pursuits for leading research universities and life sciences companies.

“Lisa brings a deep understanding of academic and corporate S+T projects and clients, and a growing understanding of the intersection of S+T and healthcare,” said Chris Martin, AIA, LEED AP, Science + Technology Market Sector Leader. “Her curiosity, knowledge, and collaborative spirit have helped us build the internal relationships and networks needed across HGA’s markets to win and do this complex, exciting, and rewarding work.”

Hellmuth has more than 30 years marketing and business development experience working with architecture/engineering/construction firms focused on higher education and research. She played a pivotal role in building HGA’s S+T market in the Northeast as a Business Developer when the firm integrated with Wilson Architects in 2018, where she served as Director of Marketing since 2002.

“Science + Technology is a growing and exciting field that offers many global benefits through interdisciplinary research and discovery,” Hellmuth said. “I’m excited to engage more deeply with clients who are doing important work and our internal experts to create facilities that elevate our clients’ missions.”

Hellmuth is a member of the Boston Society of Architects (BSA) and the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP).
