Central Standard first announced its relocation plans early last year, before the pandemic forced the distillery to temporarily pivot operations to produce hand sanitizer and disinfectant spray, which it sold and donated to local nonprofits.

Central Standard Craft Distillery is working with HGA on design and construction of a new home adjacent to Milwaukee’s historic Third Ward. Built in 1874, and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005, the primary design intent is to celebrate the existing character of the building to the greatest extent possible.

Central Standard Craft Distillery has announced that its new Downtown Milwaukee facility will be ready for a July 22 grand opening.
The building will include a tour experience, tasting room, retail store, restaurant, rooftop patio and private events space, as well as third floor loft office space for rent.
