TimeLine Theatre Company finds a new home on Broadway in Uptown Chicago, reusing existing vacant property.

After deliberation by the Chicago City Council, TimeLine Theatre Company has been granted final approval to construct a new theatre in the Uptown neighborhood. Currently occupied by a century-old warehouse and a parking lot, the new TimeLine Theatre will partially incorporate the existing structure to create a 250-seat theatre, a rehearsal hall, a café, offices, and an education/community space. Located across from the CTA Argyle Station, local leaders hope construction of the new theatre will boost area business revenue and provide outreach to neighborhood schools.
