A redesign of the plaza by HGA provides more usable green space and seating for Aon staff and pedestrian traffic.
After undergoing a thorough redesign and remodel, the outdoor plaza at Aon Center, located at 200 E. Randolph in Chicago, is officially open to the public. With an eye towards creating more space for gathering, HGA’s landscape architecture team incorporated a range of seating amidst greenery and lawns. The redesign introduced a gentle slope to the plaza, angling down from the street and Millennium Park towards the Aon tower’s lobby, making the pavilion more accessible and inviting.
