New three-story mixed-use building planned for Redcar properties on 14th Street in Santa Monica.
The project, as detailed in plans presented to the Santa Monica Architectural Review Board, would rise at 1640-1644 14th Street. Local developer Redcar Properties proposes to raze all existing improvements – including a small brick building and a parking are – to make way for the construction of a three-story structure featuring 18,742 square feet of office space above 3,600 square feet of ground-floor retail and 61 basement parking stalls.
