Updated Response to COVID-19 Pandemic

As we all are navigating this truly unprecedented time, I wanted to reach out and let you know how HGA is responding—how we’re keeping the health and wellbeing of our employees, their families, and our communities front and center, while staying engaged and present for our clients, and working to deliver our best work.

Each of the regions in which our 11 offices are located are taking different, but increasingly sweeping, measures to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus / the coronavirus. In response to those regions leading the way, we are temporarily closing all our physical office spaces until further notice and working to provide all of our employees the equipment and resources they need to work from home.

We have also instituted enhanced health protocols for our employees including temporary holds on travel, limiting attendance at gatherings and meetings, and providing continued reminders around hygiene and social distancing.

HGA employees, across all our offices and disciplines, are well-versed at using robust technology platforms for virtual work and collaboration. We believe we have the resources and tools necessary to maintain proactive and uninterrupted communication, with as little disruption in productivity as possible under the circumstances. We also recognize that every project has its own work flows and complexities; we are prepared to adapt to new processes in order to address barriers or disruptions in meeting project needs that might occur due to our current environment.

Finally, and most important, all of us at HGA are also using empathy as our guide right now, understanding that everyone with whom we engage is navigating both professional and personal challenges that may affect their work. The only way to do our best work right now, is to work well together.
