Twins Unveil New Sensory Suite at Target Field

The Minnesota Twins just finished their first home stand at Target Field in Minneapolis. Behind the scenes, HGA has been working with the organization for several years helping Target Field evolve to include and delight more Twins fans, new and returning.

This year, fans can find a respite in the new inclusive UnitedHealthcare Sensory Suite. Designed in partnership with health care experts, the space is equipped to provide a welcoming, compatible environment in which neuroatypical guests can return to the game and enjoy their team. It also offers a controlled, outdoor area overlooking the game, making Target Field’s sensory area among a select few professional sports venues nationally to have a view of the playing surface.

Another HGA-led project is The Market at Target Field, an open grab-and-go concession experience. This new food option gives fans the feeling of control, with the ability to look at all options, select local beer, etc. These projects support the Twins’ focus on the fan experience and pride in the stadium. Twins owners the Pohlads, with the Administration, work with local firms like HGA to keep the ambiance fresh and provide fan-facing enhancements every year.
