A Conversation with Brittni McGill
Brittni McGill, MSN, RN, CCRN, is Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Norman Regional Health System in Oklahoma. She has a Masters in Healthcare Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelors in Nursing from the University of Oklahoma. In the following, she talks about her personal satisfaction working in a supportive profession that is not just a job but “a calling.”

A Conversation with Kate Hellmich
Kate Hellmich, RN, is a surgical ICU nurse at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She received her Master in Nursing from Rush University College of Nursing in Chicago. She spent this past summer as a traveling nurse in Brooklyn, New York, caring for COVID-19 patients before starting full-time at Mayo this August. In the following, she talks about her inspiration “to serve” in her chosen profession.

Sheila Burns, RN, is a Labor and Delivery nurse at Allina Health’s Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Originally from Minnesota, she began her nursing career in Houston in 1999 before returning to Minneapolis and joining Abbott Northwestern Hospital in 2001. In the following, she talks about her personal satisfaction working with expectant mothers and their newborns.

Allie Janous, RN, is a medical ICU nurse at Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas, part of Ascension in Austin, where she cares for COVID-19 patients in a 30-bed unit that has designated more than half the beds for COVID this spring. In the following, she talks about the challenges and rewards of nursing since attaining her licensure in 2014 and joining Dell Seton in September 2019.

A Conversation with Sarah A. Cypher
Sarah A. Cypher, DNP, RN, CMSRN, NE-BC, is Director of Nursing for Surgical Units at Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, where she directs nursing practice, education, professional development, research, and nursing services. She has collaborated with HGA on several research studies over the years to help create inpatient facilities that improve patients and staff wellbeing. In the following, she talks about her personal satisfaction in her chosen profession.
