Rebecca Sanders Named Healthcare Practice Group Leader

 

HGA is pleased to announce that Rebecca Kleinbaum Sanders, AIA, NCARB, has been named the new Healthcare Practice Group Leader in the Great Plains region. She will lead the healthcare team in Minneapolis and partner with leaders in the Rochester office.

“Rebecca is a talented, empathetic, and collaborative leader,” said Alanna Carter, LEED AP, Healthcare Principal and Sector Operations Leader. “Our team is thrilled to have her as our Practice Group Leader.”

Sanders, a Healthcare Principal, has extensive experience in healthcare design, medical planning, programming, and project management. Her portfolio includes academic medical centers, behavioral and mental health facilities, and a wide variety of community healthcare environments.

Sanders has worked with leading national healthcare organizations since joining HGA in 2008, including Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, Mayo Clinic, University of Kentucky HealthCare, University of Minnesota, UCLA Medical Center, Aspirus Health, and Northwestern Memorial Healthcare.

In addition, she speaks at national conferences, including Healthcare Facilities Symposium, Healthcare Design Conference, and Environmental Design Research Association (EDRA) conference and contributes articles to industry journals.

She has a Master of Architecture specializing in Architecture and Health from Clemson University, and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
