University of California, Davis - Administrative Support Building

Supporting Medical Leaders Of Tomorrow

HGA collaborated with the UC Davis School of Nursing to design facilities that support their legacy of empowering the researchers of tomorrow who will advance and improve health and healthcare outcomes for individuals, families, and communities. UC Davis Health continues its legacy as a leading institution in training our future physicians, nurses, and other healthcare practitioners. With the addition and continued growth of the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing, the School of Nursing required facilities that meet their space needs and foster the most effective learning environments.

This project re-imagined the west side of the second floor of an existing office building into a state of the art teaching facility for the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis. The space includes the first active learning classrooms constructed on a UC Davis campus. The classrooms are designed to encourage teamwork and active instruction. A collaborative learning commons, academic offices and associated support spaces were also included in the project.
