Inspired by a mission to serve South Central Oklahoma with compassion and excellence, HGA transformed Norman Regional’s main campus into the flagship destination for health and wellness. Located off I-35, the expanded campus consolidates off-site acute care services, establishing itself as a beacon of healing for the community. The campus includes a 96-bed critical care tower, a 42-bed emergency department, and a state-of-the-art ambulatory care center, all seamlessly integrated into a design that celebrates Oklahoma’s natural beauty.

Thoughtfully designed green spaces foster reflection and connection, while intuitive wayfinding ensures easy navigation. A hospitality-driven approach defines the design, featuring a sinuous light-filled lobby with living green walls, a serene indoor courtyard, and a meditation chapel for quiet reflection. The iconic angled stone wall, a hallmark of the existing brand and campus, is echoed throughout the new design to expand and strengthen Norman Regional Health System’s identity. By prioritizing accessibility, comfort, and patient-centered care, the expanded campus sets a new standard for healthcare design. Blending nature, architecture, and community-focused care, it reflects a vision of holistic healing and wellness.
