Marquette University - Athletic and Human Performance Research Center

Dedicated To Athletics And Performance Data

Marquette University’s Athletic and Human Performance Research Center (AHPRC) is the first phase of an innovative multi-purpose facility focused on training, testing, and research to improve athlete performance and enhance research.

The first phase started with a new permanent home for men and women’s lacrosse and men’s golf. The project combines training, testing, and research into one facility which will integrate athletics and research to develop new fitness technologies and advance the use of data analytics to improve performance, including that of athletes with special needs. Phase one was expedited to provide dedicated locker room space to the men’s and women’s lacrosse teams, who had been without space for six years. In addition to providing needed space, AHPRC gives Marquette University a competitive advantage for recruiting.

The space includes a team film room (where teams and coaches can have larger meetings or review game and practice films), generously daylit strength and conditioning space, nutrition options to aid in post-workout recovery, and research and bio-assessment labs.
