Donald & Carol Kress Pavilion, Egg Harbor Library
Welcoming Residents And Visitors Of All Ages
The Donald & Carol Kress Pavilion Egg Harbor Library is a destination unlike any other. Replacing the outdated 800 square-foot existing Egg Harbor Library, this exciting 21st century library and community center welcomes residents and visitors with 6,000 square feet of collections, exhibits, technology, a conferencing center, hearth room, and an outdoor village commons.
The project will serve populations young and old in an inter-generational environment that creates synergies between the library and community center. Shared technology, seating, and core building functions create a dynamic space while delivering an economical project to the village.
The site selection resulted in a highly visible project at the entrance of the downtown area, making the project a true gateway to Egg Harbor and the rest of the Door County peninsula.
