Da Vinci Science Center

Hands-On Science for Elementary Students

This 30,000-SF hands-on science center serves K-8 students in the Lehigh Valley in eastern Pennsylvania. Located on the corner of Cedar Crest College campus, the Center draws on the example of Leonardo da Vinci as the creative thinker and scientist. The program includes hands-on exhibit halls, lecture space, science labs, cafeteria, and store. The architecture features a central lobby and exhibit space with soaring window walls capped by a butterfly roof. The tall, light-filled space captures views of the rolling valley and serves as the main circulation hub. The Center meets LEED Silver standards.
