Reducing Energy Costs and Improving Patient Comfort
In the preliminary assessment at Campbell County Memorial Hospital, HGA evaluated the operating performance of a sample of building systems, using trend data downloaded from the building automation system. The team identified recommendations for specific pieces of equipment that, once implemented, will reduce annual energy consumption for the Hospital by 30%, saving an estimated $2 million in energy costs over 10 years. As a result of our successful retro-commissioning process, HGA was retained to integrate Monitoring-Based Commissioning to help the campus continue to reduce their energy use while improving occupant comfort.
