Peter Cook Co-Presents with Dina Griffin at NOMA UNBOUNDED

What are the Challenges and Opportunities of Designing Historic and Culturally Significant Projects?

On Friday, October 19th, architects Dina Griffin, FAIA, NOMA, IIDA of Interactive Design Architects and Peter Cook, AIA, NOMA of HGA, will present “Designing Toward the American Conscience: The Obama Presidential Center and the National Museum of African American History and Culture” at the 46th annual NOMA Conference in Chicago, IL.

Exploring their respective roles on the Obama Presidential Center (OPC) and the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC), Griffin and Cook will examine the challenges and opportunities of designing and programming projects of historic and cultural significance.

The session will be moderated by Steven Lewis, Urban Design Principal at ZGF Architects, and Tiffany D. Brown, Construction Administrator at SmithGroup.

NOMA UNBOUNDED, will be held at the historic Palmer House Hotel, October 17th – 20th.

Peter Cook is a Design Principal with HGA, and was formerly a Principal with Davis Brody Bond. Dina Griffin is the President of Interactive Design Architects.
