His approach to project management emphasizes client-centered project leadership and executing high performance design solutions to meet client’s needs. His attention to design solution management is highly collaborative and interdisciplinary – working with clients, owners, users, communities and with experts in many disciplines – focusing on the development of impactful goals and visions of the project. He is a team manager who promotes rigorous project planning and performance metrics to define and promote project value. His focus on environmentally thoughtful design strategies has resulted in measurable benefits for clients and their communities.

Prior to HGA, Robert taught at Montana State University’s School of Architecture for three years. He has been rooted to Livingston, Montana since 2008 to what he calls home. He has many childhood memories of Holland Lake where his family owns a remote cabin, and he absolutely relishes the spectacular outdoors of Montana.

Robert loves to explore new hobbies and he has been investing his time after work in learning to play bass guitar and exploring 70’s progressive rock, punk and jazz.

I would like to contribute to ecology and conservation education through empirical, shared-experience knowledge building – to allow the interconnected wilderness to be explored and celebrated together.
