Mahshid is a design researcher and environmental designer, specializing in the field of Architecture-Environmental Design Research. With a Ph.D. earned from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, she has honed her expertise in investigating the relationship between built environments and the experiences of its users.
Throughout her career, Mahshid has dedicated herself to conducting rigorous research and applying evidence-based design principles to create environments that optimize human experience. Recognized for her contributions to the field, Mahshid has been the recipient of several awards and scholarships. She was honored with multiple Certificate of Research Excellence (CORE) by Environmental Design Research Association (EDRA) for her research on the built environment. Additionally, she was awarded the Distinguished Graduate Student Fellowship (DGSF) from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, which recognized the excellence of her dissertation research.
