Born with a deep appreciation for the beauty of the natural world, Cherry Shao discovered early on the transformative power of indoor and outdoor spaces. As a landscape designer with HGA, Cherry goes beyond aesthetics to create landscapes that are sustainable, ecologically responsible, and culturally rich.
After graduating from the University of Minnesota’s Master of Landscape Architecture and Master of Metropolitan Design programs, she sought more opportunities to work on a broad range of projects. Starting with private residential projects, Cherry is expanding beyond her public space design experience in China to project types that include signage design, green roofs, and courtyard design for commercial and institutional clients. Cherry Shao’s work had garnered recognition both locally and internationally.
