Sleep Number recently relocated from Plymouth, Minnesota, to a sleek new headquarters occupying two floors of a five-story commercial building in downtown Minneapolis, signaling a cultural shift for the mattress company. Designed by HGA, the new workplace includes open space for collaboration, workout equipment, and an outdoor deck—all positioned to increase employee engagement and innovation.
“We wanted to be more centrally located as well as culturally evolve the organization,” said Angela Gear, Vice President of Brand Experience at Sleep Number. “Being in downtown is more tech-forward [and] allows us to pull from a more diverse employee pool.”
