Meredith Hayes Gordon Wins AIA Young Architects Award

Award jurors praised Hayes Gordon as a model for the future of the profession.

We are proud to share Meredith Hayes Gordon, AIA, LEED AP, has won the AIA National Young Architects Award.

Meredith is a Principal and Vice President in our Minneapolis office. She previously served as President of AIA Minnesota, and is actively involved in planning committees. In addition, she is on the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Architectural Foundation.

“I have always had a strong desire to help others. The profession of architecture has provided an ideal platform for pursuing that mission,” Hayes Gordon shared. “Architecture, for me, is about advocacy: advocating for the needs of others, advocating for quality design that makes a difference and advocating for a built environment that positively impacts the public. This passion plays out in the collaborations with my clients, in my activities within the profession and in my efforts to engage the communities around me.”

Her work includes the University of Kentucky – Research Building 2, Texas A&M University – Music Activities Building, Dropbox Headquarters, and University of Minnesota Institute for Child and Adolescent Brain Health among others.
