HGA is pleased to announce that Jennifer Ries has been appointed Los Angeles Office Director.
She will oversee daily administrative and operational functions of the growing 50-person architectural office specializing in healthcare, higher education and workplace design, in coordination with HGA’s 11 national offices.
“Jennifer has the ability to rally team members and clients around the best solutions possible,” said Scott Lindvall, AIA, Chief Operating Officer. “She accomplishes this through listening to their concerns with empathy, collaborating with her teams to solve client needs, and clearly communicating solutions. We look forward to working with her as she propels the Los Angeles office forward and builds greater value for our clients.”
In addition to her new leadership role, Ries will continue in her primary position as Senior Medical Planner and Vice President. She has more than 20 years of architectural experience specializing in healthcare design. Her expertise includes medical planning, programming, design, construction documents, and construction administration. She has worked on a range of projects, including outpatient care centers, inpatient facilities, hospital master plans, and replacement hospitals.
Ries has a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Texas, Arlington. She joined HGA in 2015.
