Marcus Oksa, MS, RCP, SSBB, has joined HGA as National Healthcare Market Strategist for the firm’s nationally recognized healthcare practice.
As a member of HGA’s healthcare leadership team, Oksa brings the client’s perspective to his role as he collaborates across marketing, business development, and project teams to develop strategies that differentiate the firm’s design expertise in the AEC industry.

“Having worked primarily from the healthcare provider’s side, I am familiar with the day-to-day challenges healthcare organizations face in balancing reimbursements, staffing, and care delivery,” Oksa said. “HGA’s expertise and collaborative processes allow me to share my insider perspective firmwide to gain, build, and strengthen relationships with healthcare systems and other partners nationally, which contributes to sustainable operations and optimal care delivery.”
Oksa has more than 30 years of healthcare management experience, contributing to successful strategic planning and financial sustainability initiatives in multiple organizations. Throughout his career, he has developed relationships with specialty and primary care providers, front-line staff, and executive leadership that have informed his insight into the issues impacting healthcare.

Before joining HGA, he was Senior Improvement Advisor at Bellin Health in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where he led more than 500 projects improving quality of care, patient satisfaction, care delivery, and financial performance.
Outside work, he has served on boards of directors at local, regional, and state levels for Habitat for Humanity, The United Way, The American Legion, Boy Scouts of America, Mahala’s Hope, and Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). He also has served as an adjunct professor at Marian University and Bellin College teaching leadership and management, operations management, and organizational behavior.
Oksa is a U.S. Army veteran and Bronze Star Medal recipient. He has a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and Quality from Marian University of Fond du Lac in Wisconsin and is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
