HGA continues its engagement with the museum and cultural industry through our upcoming sponsorship and presentation at the Association of Midwest Museums (AMM) conference in Milwaukee, WI, scheduled for July 19-23, 2022.
HGA’s Milwaukee-based principal designer Jim Shields will be part of a panel at the conference, which is the largest network of museum professionals in the Midwest. Jim will join with leaders from the Museum of Wisconsin Art to share how museums can expand and diversify their audiences by constructing landscapes that can accommodate festivals and events, and by developing “Museum Outposts” with diverse partners in remote locations for changing exhibits and talks.
Also attending the conference will be HGA museum and cultural studio staff, including Rebecca Celis, Roxanne Nelson, Kevin Allebach, and Jenny Miller.
HGA’s sponsored event, Live @ the Lakefront at Discovery World, is on Wednesday, July 20 from 5:30 – 9:00pm CST.
