HGA is excited to announce that it has been named a Top Workplace among midsize firms in southeast Wisconsin in the 12th annual Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Top Workplaces 2021 ranking.
“Once again, we have been named a Top Workplace, validating our commitment to promoting a high-quality workplace where people can grow professionally,” said Paula Verboomen, AIA, LEED AP, Design Principal and Office Director at HGA. “Being named a Top Workplace is a big deal because the award is based solely on employee feedback—during a challenging year when we all pulled together to achieve success and support each other.”
To identify Top Workplaces across industries, the Journal Sentinel asked companies with 50 employees or more to answer an employee engagement survey assessing 15 cultural factors, including business statistics, demographics, and firm culture. HGA’s responses were based on feedback from more than 130 team members. Among notable characteristics, employees cited the office’s commitment to fostering an equitable, inclusive work environment and focus on collaboration.
“The feedback our team provided was so inspiring, and we will be using these comments and suggestions to make our office and environment even better for current and future employees,” Verboomen added. “We’re different in this marketplace given our national presence and our emphasis on research to help our clients; it’s encouraging to hear that this resonates quite universally in our Milwaukee office. This is a fantastic achievement that we can celebrate all year long.”
The Top Workplaces was announced in a special section of the Journal Sentinel May 9. HGA previously was named a Top Workplace in 2019.
