Gail Bouvrie Joins HGA as Design Principal in Los Angeles

HGA welcomes Gail Bouvrie, AIA, DBIA, as Associate Vice President and Design Principal focused on arts, community, higher education, and healthcare projects in the Los Angeles office.

Bouvrie has more than 35 years of experience designing academic, commercial, and civic architecture for leading clients throughout California, including California Polytechnic State University, Pasadena City College, University of California Davis Medical Center, and several projects for the California Department of General Services (DGS). Her expertise includes design leadership, master planning, programming, and research.

“HGA’s client-focused approach to architecture aligns with my value of designing with empathy and creating spaces that engage the community and user experience,” Bouvrie said. “This is an exciting opportunity to build on HGA’s legacy of creating meaningful experiences through architecture.”

Before joining HGA, Bouvrie was a Design Principal with AC Martin in Los Angeles, where she led design teams and client relations for higher education and community projects since 2000.

Bouvrie has a Master of Architecture from Syracuse University and Bachelor of Arts from Hamilton College.
