San Diego Business Journal on Environmentally Friendly Design

Since Earth Day was first celebrated in 1970, building design and construction has undergone a major shift emphasizing how new buildings can be sustainable – focusing on everything from using recyclable building materials to taking care in how a building is oriented on a site.

“We see sustainability evolving to regenerative design which is moving from merely doing less harm and shifting the narrative toward the idea that architecture has a positive impact, both socially and environmentally,” says Tiera Robinson, senior interior designer, in an article in the San Diego Business Journal.
