HGA designs Lehigh University’s Groundbreaking Research Facility and Home for the new College of Health.
The Health | Science | Technology (HST) Building was conceived upon the completion of a Science & Engineering Framework planning process HGA engaged in with Lehigh University in 2015. HST supports an increased need for interdisciplinary research and helps attract and retain the best faculty and students during a time of tremendous growth for the university.
The innovative, flexible, and sustainably designed facility will support chemistry, materials science, and biological science, among other fields. HST features a welcoming entrance that invites people in and offers spaces for informal conversations throughout the building that encourage moments of interdisciplinary collaboration.
A home for the new College of Health, HST is one of the first of its kind on a campus with much tradition and history. It is breaking ground in ways that are unique and warrant excitement and attention.
