Fafinski, Mark & Johnson PA Office Relocation
Designing Space Reflective Of Employees, Culture and Clients
When Fafinski, Mark & Johnson (FMJ) made the decision to relocate their offices, they engaged HGA for a design solution. The design team worked closely with FMJ stakeholders through discovery exercises and visual listening to develop a deep understanding of their culture and clients to ensure space was reflective of those users.
The project transformed FMJ’s traditional office into a workspace reflecting the firm’s values. The new space merges residential comfort with professional functionality by integrating select furniture, draperies, and artwork, to create a professional yet warm atmosphere. Spontaneous staff interactions have been enhanced with the placement of a work café overlooking a light-filled atrium. The design balanced private offices with collaborative spaces, accommodating diverse legal practices. Sustainability was addressed by reusing furniture, minimizing waste while creating welcoming lobby and waiting areas.
This project demonstrates HGA’s ability to create spaces that reflect their clients, promoting flexibility, while fostering productivity and creativity. Our approach focuses on culture-driven environments that position our clients at the leading edge of the evolving professional services landscape.
