A High-Tech Multimedia Experience for Children’s Health

The Ryan Seacrest Foundation’s mission is to build broadcast media centers known as Seacrest Studios within pediatric hospitals. This gives children receiving care at these institutions an outlet for creativity and provides for positive distraction and engagement that can enhance the healing process. This is especially true for children and families that have extended hospital stays due to the nature of their complex treatment.

They partnered with Children’s Hospital New Orleans and HGA for the design of their latest Seacrest Studios opening in 2026. The studio will contain a DJ desk with the ability to interview special guests, connect live to the hospital’s inpatient rooms and even connect virtually to other Seacrest Studios across the country. Additionally, a motorized green screen will allow patients to create one of kind videos edited by studio staff. A wall of fame will display photographs of celebrity guests visiting the studio, giving the patients of Children’s Hospital New Orleans one-of-a-kind experiences.

The effect the studio has on children and their families is truly engaging and uplifting. It allows patients to step away from the realities of their treatments to enjoy moments of joy and happiness making a positive impact during their medical journey.
