Advocate Aurora Health - Aurora Health Center Pleasant Prairie

Streamlined Delivery with Continuous Improvement

As a result of the merger in 2018, Advocate Aurora Health planned for a new ambulatory care center in Kenosha, Wisconsin as part of a market master plan to improve access, fill patient needs, grow volume, and strengthen its presence along the Wisconsin/Illinois border. However, after the initial design had been completed for the Kenosha site, another site was selected.

To support Advocate Aurora Health’s market strategy, the design adaptation to the new site had to happen without impact to schedule, so best practices, system standards and project delivery innovation informed by our work with the system was vital to success-fully achieving the plan. Using a proven delivery process from recent success with Advocate Aurora, HGA delivered this project quickly without sacrificing quality. This proven delivery process captured roughly $9M of added value while saving almost $6M.

Now with visibility from I-94, the 206,000 SF ASC and MOB nestles in with the surrounding landscape on the new campus seamlessly. This location offers comprehensive services including general surgery, orthopedics and urology, as well as primary care, rehabilitation, imaging, occupational health, pharmacy, laboratory, a variety of specialty care services and Aurora’s Children’s Health Services. State of the art technology is offered in everything from the operating rooms to imaging technology.
