385 Sherman Mixed Use

Unconventional Solution, Exceeding ROI

In the heart of Palo Alto, Visa’s innovative workplace emerges as a dynamic mixed-use development, skillfully harnessing the potential of the planning code’s height benefits. This design strategically positions the office adjacent to spacious residential units, resulting in expansive windows and stunning views from the rooftop deck for the office, while the townhomes enjoy a serene view of the neighboring public park.

The residential component of the project is artfully oriented towards the park, featuring inviting walk-up stoops and tall balconies. Tenants are privy to the park view from the rooftop deck and are treated to spacious floor-to-floor heights, smart circulation, and high-yield rentable square footage.

Tabula, an award-winning LED light display by artists Charles Gadeken and D.V. Rogers, is integrated into the facade.

Additional green space is offered in the form of roof gardens on levels two and three, while a two-story residential building on the southeast corner of the site is located adjacent to Sarah Wallis Park. The property was sold in January 2018 for a record $138 million.
