Eide Bailly
Close Proximity to Clients Strengthens Relationships
As one of the nation’s top 25 CPA firms, Eide Bailly decided to relocate their suburban office to downtown Minneapolis. Wanting to be close to clients and peers, they capitalized on a unique opportunity in the USBancorp Center, where a 40,000 SF floor plate could house their entire staff on one floor.
High ceilings and column-free space proved ideal for the firm’s larger departments while enabling Eide Bailly to simplify their workplace model to a single private office and one-size open office workspace. This allowed for a variety of formal and informal collaboration, training and meeting spaces which totaled more than 25% of the office. Reusing existing conditions and designing with green materials and furnishings met Eide Bailly’s sustainability goals.
As part of the move and new workspace standards, many staff moved from private offices into the open office environment. From programming through move-in, HGA worked with the Eide Bailly leadership to celebrate the benefits of this new model, including increased collaboration space, improved access to natural light, improved amenities, and increased mentoring and training opportunities with staff.
