Embracing Tech-Forward Innovations

Built as the headquarters for Regis Salon in 1981, 7201 Metro Blvd is undergoing a transformation into a tech-focused, amenity-rich office building.

A public space renovation is underway that incorporates a hospitality-inspired lobby lounge, new training room, and fitness center. A folding glass wall connects the lobby to an outdoor terrace and fire pit. Electric car charging stations were added to the attached parking garage. A bike storage area and upgraded locker rooms support commuters arriving via the adjacent Nine Mile Creek Regional Trail.

On the exterior, a section of curtain wall was replaced with floor-to-ceiling glass. A new entry canopy provides a contemporary first impression. Measures to improve health and wellbeing were incorporated in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. The building’s air system was upgraded with enhanced air filtration and ionization. Building entry points, common area doors, and elevator call buttons were connected to Open Path, a touchless, smartphone-connected access control system.
