Brad Carpenter Joins HGA in Los Angeles

Brad Carpenter, AIA, LEED AP, has joined HGA as an Associate Vice President and Senior Technical Manager in Los Angeles. In this newly created position, he will focus on helping teams apply new workflow tools that address the technical complexities clients face in the design & construction process. 

Carpenter has experience working on higher education, science & technology, corporate, and cultural projects through all phases of programming, design, and construction. He combines his engineering background with his architectural experience to integrate complex building systems and technical details into improving the digital practices of firms. He has worked on projects with such top-name clients as the University of California Los Angeles, Los Angeles Unified School District, East Los Angeles College, Chaffey College, and California State University Northridge, among others.

Throughout his career, he has held positions with several national architecture firms, including most recently Project Director with Clive Wilkinson Architects in Culver City, California. He previously worked with HGA in the mid-2000s. 

Carpenter has a Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Bachelor of Arts in Engineering from Dartmouth College, and Certificate in Integrated Projected Delivery from Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
