Highlighting Workspace Solutions: Showroom Innovative Design

HGA worked closely with PeopleSpace to accomplish their design goals for their San Jose office, which included a modern, sophisticated, versatile canvas with clean and natural materials where their product would shine. The company was downsizing their showroom and sought to create a space that reflected their brand and, specifically, their Bay Area location; elevating and highlighting their products to inspire solutions for workspace and collaboration.

The main focus of the project was the front showroom area, where visitors are welcomed through a modern comfort feel in a space that feels like it’s an extension of the outdoors. The design focused on modern, elegant, but still versatile and casual ambience through the workstation and ancillary furniture where PeopleSpace can also showcase their other products, such as acoustical and light fixtures, throughout the different areas. This was particularly important when considering budget, as PeopleSpace was able to merge vendor display lighting with standard track lighting, ultimately reducing costs on fixtures.

The design for the multifunctional collaboration space was kept flexible for their needs so that it can evolve with product changes and different client events. The showroom encourages movement and liveliness and provides visitors with a sense that they’re entering a space with the latest technology and products. The showroom not only showcases PeopleSpace’s product but brings together the warmth and energy of the company with the aesthetics associated with the San Jose region.
