HGA won the coveted “Best Overall Project under $100 Million” award at the 2023 Architectural Engineering Institute Conference Professional Practice Competition last week.
The “Best Overall Project” awards are selected from the Award of Excellence and Award of Merit winners. The competition focuses on the design and construction of high-performance buildings including structural, mechanical and electrical systems, as well as construction management and architectural engineering integration.
In addition to the “Best Project Under $100 Million”, for the Marlboro Music Reich Hall, HGA received:
- Award of Excellence – Lighting Systems Design
- Award of Merit – Mechanical Systems Design
- Award of Merit – Architectural Engineering Integration
HGA, with Vanderweil Engineers, also received awards for the Lehigh University Health Science Technology Building:
- Award of Excellence – Mechanical Systems Design
- Award of Merit – Architectural Engineering Integration
- Award of Merit – Construction Management and Methods
- Award of Merit – Lighting Systems Design
- Award of Merit – Structural Systems Design
