Garrett Corbett Joins HGA as Structural Department Leader in Milwaukee

HGA welcomes Garrett Corbett, SE, PE, LEED AP BD+C, as Associate Vice President and Department Leader of Structural Engineering in Milwaukee. He will direct team processes for the Structural Department in coordination with the office’s integrated architecture and engineering design services.

Corbett has more than 16 years of experience designing and managing complex structural systems across various market sectors including healthcare, education, mixed-use, public, corporate, and security infrastructure. With a broad background in structural engineering, architecture, and sustainability, he provides a holistic perspective on building systems from project inception through construction.

Corbett has served as a structural engineer and project manager for several leading design firms in the Midwest, including most recently David Mason & Associates, where he helped grow the structural practice as the Structural Engineering Lead for the Chicago region.

He has a Master of Architecture with Structural emphasis from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a licensed Structural Engineer in Illinois, a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states, and a LEED AP BD+C.
