Scott Cryer will be presenting at this year’s League of Historic American Theatres.

In this session Scott and Alec Stoll, Principal at Stages Consultant, will review the most recent requirements of the ADAAG including those related to wheelchair accommodations, the ambulatory handicapped, the hard of hearing, and the sight impaired. Attendees will learn the technical requirements and technological solutions as well as challenges specific to historic buildings and the case for making ‘reasonable accommodations’ when full compliance is challenging or cost prohibitive. The structure of the session will be a technical overview followed by some examples from historic projects, practical tips on what attendees can do right now operationally, and a Q&A.
