Flexible, Vibrant Space for Local Government

Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) is an association of local governments in the greater Sacramento Region. Its members include stakeholders in each county and serves as a forum for the study and resolution of regional issues.

Our team partnered with SACOG to complete a comprehensive workplace assessment study to explore the best pathway for its future state. The workplace strategy for the new space was developed from these insights that included interviews, site observations, focus groups and qualitative/quantitative surveys. We took these insights to coalesce a flexible and vibrant place that represented their innovative work in transportation planning and funding among many other things. The renovation consisted of work spaces and support spaces as well as a flexible and technology driven board room that serves as the hub for its forum across cities.

Our mission was to discover insights that supported the creation of an environment that allow the staff and business to thrive, meet current and future goals, and provide flexibility and mobility for its ever-changing needs.
