Kevin has two decades of structural experience working on projects ranging from small renovations to the tallest building in the world. His experience includes a variety of building types including multistory office and residential buildings, airports, airplane hangars, full-scale airplane testing structures, performing-arts centers, churches, hospitals and libraries. Much of his project experience has been in high-seismic areas requiring a strong understanding of structural systems and detailing to provide a robust design. He enjoys working collaboratively with architects, engineers and designers to provide the best solution for our clients.
As a member of the ASCE 7 Main Committee and the ASCE 7 Wind Load Subcommittee and secretary of the Performance-Based Wind Design task group, Kevin is involved in developing future code provisions and new methodologies to deliver a building that meets the owners’ performance criteria.
