Branded Aesthetic with an Urban Twist

Pure Barre is known nationwide for its technique that delivers low impact workouts using the ballet barre and other light equipment for strengthening your body, mind, and soul. Its brand has been rewarded for empowering women who are focused on rising above the status quo. Although the brand is consistent throughout, its new location in midtown Sacramento needed to be especially unique in terms of it fitting the mold of the Pure Barre community and urban ambiance of its newest location. It was important to accomplish a storefront that appealed to the patrons as well as complimented the retail experience that is culminated with-in the mixed-use neighborhood at the Ice Blocks.

HGA worked with Pure Barre to create a serendipitous collision between their strong brand and the neighborhood/mixed-use culture. The studio is complete with exposed concrete floors and ceilings, a strong element to maintain the urban aesthetic as well as Douglas fir retail displays which is a nod to the timber glue-lam beams used throughout the construction of the adjacent office spaces.
