Overview
Tim has built a reputation for simple, authentic designs on a diverse range of project types. His buildings are rooted in a deep understanding of context and community. He supports a highly collaborative design process, promoting a "studio approach" within HGA's multidisciplinary environment. He collaborates with clients, user groups and other design professionals to create solutions tailored to the clients' functional, cultural and financial needs. He was named one of Progressive Architecture's Young Architects in 1993, and since has been honored with multiple national and regional design awards. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, he is a frequent visiting critic at the University of Minnesota.
