Minnesota BioBusiness Center by HGA Awarded LEED® Certified

HGA Architects and Engineers (HGA) has been awarded LEED® Certified by the U.S. Green Building Council and verified by the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) for the Minnesota BioBusiness Center in Rochester, Minnesota. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the nation's preeminent program for the design, construction and operation of high-performance green buildings.

"Receiving LEED certification for the BioBusiness Center confirms HGA's continued commitment to planning, designing and constructing sustainable, energy-efficient buildings that benefit our clients and the community," said Hal Henderson, AIA, vice president and principal with HGA in Rochester. "The BioBusiness Center is an important addition to Rochester that serves as an incubator for private research-and-development companies to promote biotechnology development in southern Minnesota. We're proud to contribute to the economic and environmental well-being of the Rochester area."

The eight-story, 138,000-square-foot office building is located in downtown Rochester adjacent to the Central Business District, Mayo Clinic, University of Minnesota Rochester, and Urban Village neighborhood.
