HGA has hired Mary Claire Olson Potter as Healthcare Business Developer and Senior Associate. She will collaborate with senior leadership in the Minneapolis and Rochester offices to direct new business opportunities and client relations for the Healthcare Practice in the Great Plains region.
Potter has extensive experience directing sales, marketing, and fundraising strategies for architecture, non-profit, and civic organizations. She has particular expertise in client relationship management, team building, and strategic planning across a wide range of market sectors.

Before joining HGA, Potter was Business Development Director at AECOM in Minneapolis, where she oversaw sales strategies for healthcare, workplace, energy and technology, and government market sectors.
Prior to AECOM, she held leadership positions at several chambers of commerce, including Executive Vice President of Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce, President of Hudson (WI) Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism, President of Rochester (MN) Area Chamber of Commerce, and Director of Membership/Marketing at St. Paul Area Chamber of Commerce.
Potter also has volunteer experience with community-based, non-profit organizations.
She was Founder and one of the fundraisers of the David C. Olson Graduate Scholarship for Business Community Excellence with Minnesota State University-Mankato and the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, which created an endowed scholarship for MBA students in memory of civic leader and MSU Board of Trustee Chair, David Olson.
Potter has a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Augsburg University in Minneapolis.
