Buildings account for 39 percent of CO2 emissions in the U.S., and the embodied energy in a building’s curtain wall is the second largest contributor to global warming.

To address these challenges, Lisa Matthiessen (above), Director of Sustainable Design at HGA, joins leading sustainable design colleagues in this program examining building systems and materials that exceed the California Energy Code and minimize environmental impact through carbon emissions reduction.

Facades+ is a full-day program examining the evolution of façade technology in the building industry. For more information, visit Facades+Los Angeles.
